Our project, entitled “Cognitive coaching for needs-based pedagogies in teacher training” aims to make education more effective and impactful by:

Improving education for young children through the use of a Sensorimotor and Cognitive Profile Test and adapting it to the needs of teachers who wish to know their learners' capacities better.

Facilitating the use of innovative teaching methods and accessible training resources for educators.

Addressing the cognitive and sensorimotor abilities of preschool and school-aged children.

Online training course

Develop an open-access course on teaching methods for young children.

Multilingual adaptation

Translate educational tests into five languages: Romanian, Finnish, Ukrainian, German, and English.

Workshops for educators

Organize blended and online workshops for student teachers and teacher trainers.

Effective teaching methods

Create methods tailored to children's abilities to improve learning outcomes.

Implementation highlights

Design and evaluate a four-lesson training course with videos, presentations, and guides for trainers.

Develop a Trainer-of-Trainers (TOT) course to support pioneering educators in promoting the Cognitive and Sensomotoric Profile Test.

This project empowers educators to foster meaningful learning experiences, helping children achieve better at school and in everyday life.
